Would you like to volunteer for MeasureCamp Malmö? Every single person involved in MeasureCamp is a volunteer, which means this event wouldn’t even happen without volunteers. That is how important volunteers are!

In addition to the excitement and having an avenue to build connections in the industry, you can use this experience as an opportunity for personal and technical growth. It is also a fantastic chance to develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.

FAQ

Do you need to book a ticket during the ticket release as a volunteer?

No. Volunteers don’t need to get their tickets through general admission when we have the ticket release dates. If you wish to volunteer with us, a volunteer ticket will be available for you.

What am I gonna need to do?

There is a wide range of tasks that need to be done for the event to run smoothly.

Examples of tasks are the welcome team, food facilitators, timekeepers, setup group, cleanup crew and others.

How much work will I need to do?

It depends on the number of volunteers that will divide the workload amongst each other.

Based on the impressive response we have received (from the amazing people who have signed up as volunteers), it looks like our volunteers will have a good balance of duty and fun. One of our goals for the volunteers is to have a good balance of volunteer duty and enjoying the event, because as Jack Black always says, “No work is worth anything unless you’re having fun doing it!” 🙂

Can I choose what tasks I’m gonna do?

While all the tasks in the list need to be covered, we’ll have an open discussion and do our best to divide the tasks as much to everyone’s liking as possible.

Who can volunteer?

Anyone!

You don’t have to be in the industry to take part. Perhaps you’re considering transitioning into digital analytics? Volunteering at MC could be a chance to take a peek into that world before making a decision.

Is there a deadline as to when to sign up as a volunteer?

There is no deadline, but we would appreciate it greatly if you sign up not later than January! You can still join us the night before too! We heard this has happened before. Although, ideally, we would like to know in advance if you want to join us so we can plan the tasks and make sure the operations will be as efficient and as smooth as possible!

How do I apply to become a volunteer?
